Building Strong Girls

Gamma Phi Beta’s philanthropic focus, Building Strong Girls, is near and dear to every sister here at the University of Florida. Our focus is unique as we always have opportunities to fulfill our mission within our sisterhood, campus, and community. Each and everyone one of us has a woman in our lives that has helped shape us into the incredible individuals we are today. Gamma Phi Beta's philanthropic focus doesn't just address an existing challenge - we are building strong girls to proactively provide opportunities for long-term success by inspiring the leaders of tomorrow.

Moonball

Moonball is Gamma Phi Beta’s signature philanthropy event to support our national philanthropic partner Girls on the Run. Moonball is a kickball tournament where other organizations on campus are invited to participate in. With all proceeds benefitting Girls on the Run, we are so honored to be a part of such an amazing program.

Girls on the Run

Gamma Phi Beta’s official philanthropic partner is Girls on the Run, a nonprofit organization that inspires 3rd to 8th-grade girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident - all while training for a 5K race. Eta Xi works with Alachua County Girls on the Run as coaches, running buddies, race-day volunteers, and supporters. Girls on the Run envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.

As confident women of character, Gamma Phi Beta recognizes that in order to build a strong girl, we must acknowledge who she is as an individual. We celebrate all that #SheIs to aspire for a world that views women as strong and equal individuals.
